Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage scheduling of installers and subcontractors, coordinate with multiple internal teams, and ensure on-time project completion. The role includes weekly payroll data entry and strong emphasis on organization and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent; at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate in a professional business manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontracted vendors to ensure on-time installation completion for each job.
• Make initial contact with each customer within 48 hours of job booking.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure site readiness and resources (lift, network, personnel).
• Coordinate and schedule technicians and subcontractors using scheduling software.
• Create job packets with details and required forms for installers before start.
• Track and verify timely delivery of materials needed for installations.
• Update the Installation Portal to keep stakeholders informed from booking to completion.
• Process paperwork and maintain communication to close out each installation.
