Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a health services professional to deliver industrial injury prevention programs focused on total worker health.

You will provide triage, first aid, education, and escalation of care across designated service centers, supporting a meat processing facility with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves ergonomic assessments, injury case coordination, and collaboration with onsite teams to minimize musculoskeletal risks and promote healthy work habits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Experience in orthopedics, wellness, industrial/occupational health, or ergonomic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and/or escalation of care if needed.
• Facilitate on-going communication with all parties involved in managing an injury case.
• Support the injured employee, monitor medical care, promote efficient reporting, and participate in accident investigation.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work in compliance with physical restrictions.
• Help employees prevent repetitive, cumulative and overuse musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses to provide recommendations on vehicle setup, work posture, tool use, and workstation modifications.
• Provide on-the-job education and coaching to improve physical resilience and posture.
• Assist employees in achieving lifestyle improvements in nutrition, fitness, and stress management.
• Develop job-specific agility routines and Work Hardening programs.
• Maintain records of triage, ergonomic assessment, first-aid care, and education.
