Job summary

Workcare Inc. is seeking an Industrial Physical or Occupational Therapist to provide onsite physical therapy services at a large-scale construction project, focusing on injury prevention, early intervention, functional improvement, and ergonomic risk reduction.

You will join a national leader in occupational health, collaborating with occupational health professionals, athletic trainers, safety teams and other allied health specialists to shape the program and improve worker outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent) or Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Physical or Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 2–5 years of clinical Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy experience required.
• Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or sports medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite physical therapy evaluations and interventions within scope of practice and state regulations.
• Deliver early intervention services to address musculoskeletal discomfort before recordable injury occurs.
• Identify cases requiring medical referral and coordinate appropriate escalation.
• Design and implement injury prevention and movement optimization programs.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job task analyses.
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs through functional progression.
• Document all services accurately, timely, and in compliance with legal and program standards.
• Track and report trends, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
• Educate employees on body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, HR, and leadership teams.
