Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking an on-site health professional to deliver industrial injury prevention services focused on total worker health at designated service centers. The role supports triage, first aid, education, and injury case coordination within OSHA guidelines.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a start date of January 4, 2027. The position emphasizes ergonomic assessment, employee coaching, and collaboration with other service lines to enhance overall worker

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in orthopedics, wellness, industrial/occupational health, or ergonomic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and/or escalation of care as needed.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with all parties involved in managing an injury case.
• Support injured employees, monitor medical care, and participate in accident investigations.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work in line with physical restrictions.
• Help prevent musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses through ergonomic guidance and education.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses and provide recommendations on vehicle setup, posture, and workspace design.
• Deliver on-the-job education to improve physical resilience and body mechanics.
• Assist employees in sustaining lifestyle improvements related to health and stress management.
• Develop job-specific agility routines and Work Hardening programs.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, ergonomic recommendations, and first aid.
• Engage with employees at their work location and document care provided.
