WorkCare Inc. in Clay, NY is seeking an Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist to support medical and safety efforts on a large-scale construction site.

The project is expected to last several years and will require collaboration with physicians to prevent and manage workplace injuries. You will perform triage, first aid, ergonomic analyses, on-the-job coaching, and education to reduce musculoskeletal risks, while maintaining records and assisting in accident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, or related field required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and escalation of care as needed.
• Facilitate communication among parties managing an injury case.
• Support injured employees, monitor medical care and assist in accident investigation.
