Paylocity in Rochester, NY is seeking an Implementation Consultant to partner with clients on moderately complex needs, lead discovery sessions, and design customized system configurations that drive efficiency and value. You’ll balance legacy data and ensure accurate data conversion to enable smooth onboarding.

This in‑office role requires strong analytical thinking, client relationships, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ years of Customer Service or Client interfacing role.
• Strong customer-focused mindset throughout the implementation process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; data manipulation and analysis.
• Resourcefulness to overcome obstacles and meet project requirements.
• Project management: prioritize tasks to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients during the implementation, facilitating meetings and maintaining communication throughout the life cycle.
• Provide smooth post-implementation support, including system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Assist moderately complex clients in data migration, mapping, and validation for accurate data integration.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to payroll, HR, time and labor.
• Review configuration with clients to ensure alignment with needs and optimal system utilization.
• Collaborate with sales, product SMEs and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related matters, escalating when necessary.
