Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Consultant I to support small business clients by configuring tailored HR and payroll solutions. You’ll begin with a needs analysis, then tailor system setups to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.

You’ll ensure data conversion accuracy and provide hands-on support through the transition to our Client Services team. This 100% in-office role is based in Rochester, NY; remote or hybrid work is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience considered.
• 1+ years in Customer Service or customer-facing role.
• 1+ years of HCM implementation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as client’s trusted advisor during implementation to ensure exceptional experiences.
• Provide smooth post-implementation support including system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Assist clients in data migration, mapping, and validation for accurate integration into the HCM software.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for payroll, HR, time, and labor.
• Review configuration with clients to ensure alignment with needs for optimal system utilization.
• Coordinate with sales, product SMEs, and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related issues, escalating as needed.
