Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a passionate Project HSE Specialist to support the Life Sciences North America (LSNA) Project in Carolina/Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The role focuses on on-site leadership to achieve an injury-free project and zero negative business impact, driving BeyondZero culture with effective stakeholder engagement.

You will provide HSE support to the Project Manager, Construction Manager and HSE Lead, conduct incident investigations, manage project-specific HSE plans and subcontractor hazard

Qualifications

• A professional HSE Certification and/or degree in safety, or related field; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction HSE experience and in managing/supporting subcontractor safe work.
• OSHA 30 Hour Training and safety training delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support and leadership to the CM project at a client facility in Lilly Carolina, PR.
• Support incident investigation and reporting process and root cause analysis.
• Lead administration/implementation of project-specific HSE plan and subcontractor hazard assessments.
• Coach and guide subcontractor teams to ensure alignment with Jacobs HSE expectations.
• Maintain open communication with Project HSE Manager and stakeholders in field.
