Jacobs is seeking a passionate HSE Manager to support Life Sciences North America (LSNA) on a Cary, NC project. You will provide HSE leadership on the night shift, partner with project management, and drive zero‑injury performance while safeguarding client operations.
You will establish HSE plans, lead incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local agencies. Travel is anticipated within the mid‑Atlantic US region as needed.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated HSE Manager to support Life Sciences North America (LSNA) project portfolio. In this initial remit you will provide HSE support and leadership on the night shift related to a project in Cary/Wilson, NC. You’ll partner with project and construction management as well as the Line of Business (LOB) HSE Director to lead HSE excellence, contribute to and development strategies to win pursuits which ensure no worker injuries or negative impacts to our client’s business continuity. You’ll support BeyondZero performance, provide overall leadership, management and direction to the team and client assigned, and take personal ownership and responsibility for protecting people from harm and driving strategies and performance while supporting continuous improvement.
We’ll rely on you to maintain open communication with the LOB HSE Director, project, peer HSE team members and Construction Management teams to provide technical guidance, ensure alignment and guarantee consistent implementation of HSE process tools that support LOB HSE strategic plans and objectives.
By establishing these working relationships, you’ll provide visible support and leadership to all client and LOB stakeholders through interpretation, training, technical review, regulatory guidance and governance oversight, ensuring alignment and consistent implementation of the Jacobs HSE program. You will lead and support incident notification, investigation and reporting processes, facilitate injury management and return‑to‑work processes, assist in developing project‑specific HSE plans, review subcontractor hazard assessments and deliverables, and participate in operational readiness reviews or other relevant forums.
Travel will be anticipated to fulfil the described activities, primarily within the mid‑Atlantic region of the United States. The candidate’s home office is anticipated to be Cary, NC, with possible additional travel within the US and potentially North America for future projects.

The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
