Scion Nonprofit Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a mission-driven nonprofit in Austin, TX. This is a full-time onsite contract (6–8 weeks) with potential for permanent conversion.

The role oversees payroll, benefits administration, HR operations, onboarding, and employee relations, using Paycom for payroll processing and benefits support. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to improve HR processes in a fast-paced environment and provide

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on human resources experience, including payroll and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with Paycom strongly preferred for payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance, onboarding, leave administration, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to respond professionally and confidentially.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily human resources operations, including inquiries, records, HR administration, and compliance.
• Administer employee benefits, coordinate with providers, and support open enrollment.
• Process payroll using Paycom, payroll reporting, and employee changes.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, background checks, and orientations with accurate documentation.
• Support employee relations, leave administration, and policy compliance; partner with leadership to improve HR processes.
