Job summary

Experience Camps, Inc. is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance for a national, mostly remote workforce.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and collaborates with senior leadership to build scalable HR processes, policies, and data-driven insights while fostering a people-centered culture and ensuring compliance across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years owning HR programs and functions.
• Ability to design and deliver an HR program end to end (e.g., onboarding redesign, policy suite).
• Hands-on employee relations and investigations experience; knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations, investigations, and manager guidance; escalate sensitive matters appropriately.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and coordination with payroll.
• Maintain confidential, audit-ready HR records and HR systems; write and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
