Job summary

Aramark is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the onsite HR function for a large, unionized convention and events operation in Washington, DC. This role serves as the HR leader for the account, specializing in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Collective Bargaining Agreement administration.

The candidate will own day-to-day HR, partner with the GM and department heads, and drive compliance while coaching leaders and developing the HR team.

Qualifications

• Broad HR leadership experience with labor and employee relations expertise.
• Ability to lead in a high-volume, unionized environment.
• Strong understanding of CBA administration and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite expert for Employee Relations, Labor Relations and CBA administration.
• Manage grievances and lead Step 1 meetings with union reps.
• Conduct complex investigations and recommend actions.
• Coach managers through performance, attendance and employee relations issues.
• Oversee payroll, recruiting, onboarding, and HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with DC, local and federal employment laws.
• Partner with General Manager on workforce planning and staffing.
• Elevate significant risks to Regional HR as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
