Job summary

Asbury Solomons is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to partner with leaders and associates, handling policies, onboarding, and HR processes on-site. This full-time role supports the community's HR needs with a focus on compliance and employee relations.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3+ years HR experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with UKG Pro and MS Office is preferred, with a track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (UKG Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a primary point of contact for associates and managers regarding Human Resources policies, practices, and associate relations matters.
• Coordinating and facilitating the new hire onboarding process for employees once they are on-site at the community.
• Preparing and conducting new hire orientation programs.
• Processing HR-related paperwork and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Managing associate relations inquiries and supporting resolutions in alignment with Asbury policies and procedures.
• Interpreting and applying HR policies, practices, and guidelines as needed.
• Tracking key HR metrics and maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal employment regulations.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department through a variety of administrative responsibilities.
