Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing is assisting a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in finding a Human Resources Generalist on-site for a direct-hire role with competitive benefits. As HR Generalist you will develop and interpret HR policies, support employee relations, coordinate training programs, assist with recruiting, ensure compliance, and manage benefits, payroll, and HRIS records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or HR preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR generalist in manufacturing.
• Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, implementation, and interpretation of Human Resource policies, practices, and procedures
• Support employee relations activities and communications
• Assist with the creation, development, and implementation of employee training programs
• Assist with recruiting activities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll activities
• Maintain human resource information system records

Education
