Westinghouse Electric Company in Ogden, UT is seeking an HR Generalist to work across HR programs, policy development, onboarding, and employee relations. This on-site role reports to the Director, HR Fuel Manufacturing.

You will handle investigations, coaching, project work, and process improvements. A BS or BA and 4+ years HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing, are desired. SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years HR Generalist experience; 6+ preferred.
• Manufacturing setting experience desirable.
• SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with employee relations and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Advises, coaches, and counsels managers and employees on relations issues to promote positive relationships.
• Ensure fair application of procedures while applying HR compliance laws.
• Conduct workplace investigations for complex HR situations and interface with agencies.
• Guide management on policy interpretation and program administration; monitor HR operations.
• Lead or support internal projects and continuous improvement of procedures.
• Collaborate to improve people programs through SOPs and resources.
• Respond to escalated cases in complex HR scenarios.
• Support HR leaders in planning and executing projects and programs.
