Job summary

Workforce Unlimited in Winston Salem, NC seeks an HR Generalist to support employees and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment onsite. The role focuses on employee relations, workplace investigations, and day-to-day HR support.

You will conduct investigations, manage disciplinary processes, assist with timekeeping and payroll, and help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Generalist or related roles.
• Hands-on investigations and employee relations.
• Experience interviewing employees and documenting findings.
• Knowledge of progressive discipline and performance matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employee questions, complaints, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct employee relations and workplace investigations, including fact finding, interviews, documentation, and follow through.
• Support progressive discipline, corrective action, and termination processes.
• Maintain confidentiality throughout employee relations matters and investigations.
• Complete employee movement forms, exit paperwork, and separation documentation.
• Provide backup support for FMLA and ADA administration.
• Assist with timekeeping and payroll processes as needed.
• Facilitate and track annual performance reviews.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and compliance documentation.
• Support compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
