Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist for our branch in Queenstown to support day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with South African labor law. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR support role.
• Solid understanding of South African labor law incl. BCEA and LRA.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Administer day-to-day HR operations at the branch, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management.
• Provide support and guidance to employees and line managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all staff.
• Assist with the implementation of performance management systems and employee development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
• Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate time and attendance data.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of HR training programs for branch staff.
• Maintain HR records and ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of all employee information.
• Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR department.
