Placements24 is seeking an HR Operations Manager for a Welkom, Free State-based role. You will oversee HR administration, payroll, and benefits while driving policy development and system improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR operations, solid SA labour law knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office to ensure accurate employee data and compliant processes. This role focuses on delivering exceptional employee experiences from onboarding to offboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in HR operations, HR administration or similar.
• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations including HR administration, payroll, and benefits management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and employee data handling.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for a positive employee experience.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Oversee relationships with external HR vendors and service providers.
• Lead initiatives to improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to HR team members and support continuous HR process improvements.
