Job summary

Epiq Solutions, LLC. is seeking an onsite Human Resources Generalist to support employees and supervisors across Rolling Meadows, IL and Frederick, MD.

The role emphasizes employee relations, coaching, investigations, onboarding, and payroll oversight. The successful candidate will have a BS/HR degree (or equivalent), 3–5 years of HR experience, familiarity with HRIS and timekeeping tools, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of HR experience across a broad range of responsibilities.
• Experience supporting employees and partnering with supervisors.
• Experience with employee relations and confidential investigations.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and federal/state laws.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development.
• Ability to coach supervisors and manage difficult conversations with sound judgment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with employees and supervisors across sites.
• Coach supervisors on performance, attendance, and policy application.
• Conduct impartial investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Partner with supervisors to improve engagement and retention.
• Monitor HR metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate staffing needs with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Support payroll and timekeeping reviews and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide training and resources for HR tools and information.
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure policy compliance.
• Contribute to HR projects as business needs evolve.
