Epiq Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our Rolling Meadows, IL and Frederick, MD sites. The role focuses on employees and supervisors, with responsibilities across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and day-to-day HR activities.

Based onsite in Frederick, MD, you will foster a culture of integrity, humility, respect, and transparent communication while applying policies fairly and consistently.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, with HR certification preferred.
• Three to five years of HR experience across broad responsibilities, ideally in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting employees and partnering with supervisors; aerospace/defense exposure preferred.
• Experience handling employee relations and investigations with integrity and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and applicable employment laws.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development.
• Ability to build relationships, coach supervisors, and handle difficult conversations.

Responsabilidades

• Build trusted relationships with employees and supervisors, serving as an approachable resource throughout the lifecycle.
• Coach supervisors on performance, attendance, employee relations, and policy application.
• Address employee concerns and conduct impartial investigations, guiding corrective action with HR leadership.
• Partner with supervisors to strengthen engagement and retention through clear communication and follow-through.
• Monitor workforce trends and HR metrics with leadership to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition to clarify staffing needs and coordinate recruiting.
• Lead new hire orientation and coordinate onboarding with supervisors, sharing policy, benefits, and workplace expectations.
• Support payroll and timekeeping reviews, identify discrepancies, and train staff on time reporting.
• Help supervisors identify development opportunities and provide tools for skill-building and progression.
• Promote employee recognition programs and consistent contributions; support HR tools navigation.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguard confidential information.
• Support compliance with federal/state employment laws and company policies.
• Contribute to additional HR projects as needs evolve.
