Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an on-site Human Resource Generalist in Shelby, OH. You will support HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, engagement, and training while fostering a safe, productive culture. Strong communication, confidentiality, and conflict management are essential.

Minimum 3–5 years in HR, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Workday and UKG experience highly valued, with willingness to work additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required/Associates acceptable.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Human Resources employee relations.
• Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations and programs.
• Provide support to Employee Relations, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Engagement and Training.
• Represent employee advocacy and strong business partner relations.
• Develop an employee-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and productivity.
• Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and managers to resolve employee relations issues.
• Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.
