Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Manager for the Distribution Center, onsite in Jackson, TN. You will manage recruiting, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, training, and development, partnering with the Sr.

HR Manager to standardize policies and practices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR management in distribution/manufacturing, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Workday/HRIS and UKG timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in HR Management in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer and systems knowledge (Microsoft Office, Workday/HRIS, UKG/timekeeping).
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all HR functions for the Distribution Center such as recruiting, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, training, and development.
• Work with the Sr. HR Manager to standardize and implement new policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Create and promote an employee-oriented culture that strives on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and productivity.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on HR-related issues; handle employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary action.
• Develop and execute initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction; conduct surveys and create action plans.
• Apply strategic talent management solutions to improve talent retention, assessment, development, and career growth.
• Track KPIs and metrics and present regular reports; use data-driven insights to drive HR decisions.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
