Job summary

Hopedale Medical Complex in Illinois is seeking an onsite Benefits & Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. This role focuses on benefits administration, payroll processing, onboarding, and maintaining employee records with regular face-to-face interaction.

You will support benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and payroll accuracy while collaborating with the HR Manager and team. This is a full-time, onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Onsite work required with ability to commute to Hopedale campus.
• Experience in HR, payroll, benefits, administration, accounting, or related field.
• Experience with payroll processing.
• Experience with HR/benefits platforms Paycor or Employee Navigator.
• Strong confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite HR support to employees and managers.
• Coordinate in-person New Employee Orientation and onboarding.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, life events, and routine questions.
• Support administration of medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
• Assist with Open Enrollment and benefits communications.
• Assist with biweekly payroll processing and timekeeping review.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Prepare routine HR, benefits, payroll, staffing, turnover, and leave reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR, benefits, and payroll processes.
• Serve as a welcoming, professional, and confidential resource for employees.
