Addison Group is seeking an HR Generalist for a temporary contract in downtown Chicago. The role focuses on benefits administration, payroll support, and HRIS maintenance using Paylocity, with a hybrid schedule requiring 2–3 days on-site each week.

The ideal candidate will handle benefits enrollment, payroll inquiries, and leave administration while partnering with HR leadership to maintain accurate records and ensure compliant processes through year-end.

Qualifications

• Previous HR Generalist or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Paylocity HRIS, payroll & benefits.
• Experience with annual open enrollment.
• Knowledge of benefits eligibility & carrier coordination.
• Payroll updates processing & inquiries handling.
• Leave administration (FMLA, STD) experience.

Responsibilities

• Support benefits administration and enrollment activities.
• Process payroll updates and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Maintain Paylocity HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping data.
• Assist with leave administration and return-to-work coordination.
• Provide general HR support and respond to employee questions.
