Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Technical Applications Specialist II to provide expert technical and application support for core histology products onsite at our Deer Park, IL facility. You will deliver training, support lab projects, and ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting response-time metrics.

The role requires a biology/chemistry/medical technology background with HT/HTL or MLT/MT certification and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, medical technology, or related field with HT/HTL (ASCP) or MLT/MT certification.
• Experience in histology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), ISH and special stains.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert technical and application support for Core Histology and Advanced Staining products via phone, E-Mail, troubleshooting and customer assistance.
• Delivers product training and educational programs for customers, employees, dealers and sales teams.
• Drives continuous process improvements and supports lab projects and application initiatives.
