Addison Group in Roseburg, OR is seeking a Medical Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact for patients and coordinate care. This onsite role requires managing schedules, clarifying instructions, and leveraging technology to ensure seamless care coordination with compassionate support.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling appointments, handling pre-certifications, booking tests and referrals, and collecting insurance information.

Formación

• 1 minimum experience within healthcare administration
• High school diploma or GED required
• Insurance verification and/or prior authorization experience preferred
• Associate degree or healthcare certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments
• Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
• Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests
• Collect insurance information and patient personal data
• May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance
