Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Appointment Scheduler in Burr Ridge, IL. The role focuses on coordinating patient appointments, managing a high volume of calls, verifying insurance eligibility, and assisting with patient registration.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare scheduling, patient access, or medical call center experience required.
• Hands-on Epic experience required.
• At least 1–2 years of call center-based medical scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle 50–60+ incoming calls daily for scheduling and inquiries.
• Coordinate appointments across endocrinology, orthopedics, ENT, pulmonary medicine, and infectious diseases.
• Verify insurance eligibility and review network participation in real time.
• Document patient interactions and scheduling information in Epic.
