Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, OR is seeking a Centralized Scheduler to manage diagnostic and procedure scheduling, pre-registration, and patient outreach.

You will work with physicians, patients, and departments to ensure accurate scheduling, messaging, and insurance information; strong customer service and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Qualifications

• Proficiency with PC-based office tools (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers patients in the registration system and collects demographics and insurance details.
• Schedules patients from physician orders and inputs required data into the scheduling system.
• Handles a high volume of calls and provides professional, timely customer service.
