Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an IT Deskside Support Engineer to deliver hands-on, onsite technical support in healthcare facilities in Delaware. The role ensures device reliability, patient safety, and uninterrupted clinical operations by resolving hardware, OS, and peripheral issues and by performing IMAC deployments with strict adherence to safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktops and laptops
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in clinical environments

Responsibilities

• Onsite Deskside & Field Incident Resolution: act as primary onsite resolver for incidents escalated by the Service Desk; provide in-person support for clinicians, researchers, and staff; resolve hardware/OS issues that cannot be remediated remotely.
• IMAC & Deployment Services: perform full IMAC lifecycle activities including new device deployments and refreshes; coordinate installations; configure devices per standards and security baselines; ensure proper handover and asset disposition.
• Hardware & Peripheral Support: support laptops/desktops, monitors, printers, docking stations; replace faulty components; ensure cleanliness, labeling, and workstation safety.
• Smart Hands & Data Closet Activities: execute hands-on tasks in data closets; support remote infrastructure teams with physical interventions; document actions in ticketing system.
