Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Fresno, TX. You will provide on-site first aid, guide associates on occupational and non-occupational injuries, and coordinate referrals to external providers.

You’ll learn OSHA regulations and help maintain wellness programs while supporting daily operations on the shop floor. You will train in CPR/AED, manage records, assist with workers’ compensation and return-to-work activities, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or NREMT, or Athletic Trainer certification now or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the floor to coach safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Participate in training to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/holidays/weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response at the site.
