Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team. You will provide on-site first aid, coordinate care with outside providers, and support safety operations within the site.

You will work with the WHS Site Manager and Specialists, attend safety committee meetings, and assist with daily health and safety initiatives. The role requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, strong recordkeeping, and the ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Current valid BLS certification by an approved ECC provider; must have one of EMT/Paramedic Certification or Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Active licensure as EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers when needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with Associates.
• Maintain records of care provided to Associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for work-related injuries.
• Maintain daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with leadership on the floor to coach on safe work practices.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and a clean work environment.
• Participate in certification trainings for first aid, CPR, and AED.
