Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager I to lead onsite hazardous materials and waste program operations at a customer facility. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the client, coordinating waste, inventory, and logistics activities to support safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong environmental compliance knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a client-facing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or onsite program management.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations.
• Experience managing hazardous waste operations and compliance documentation.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee onsite hazardous waste program operations.
• Serve as primary client contact to ensure compliance and service delivery.
• Coordinate waste management, inventory, and logistics activities.
• Support safety initiatives and audit readiness across the program.
• Maintain program documentation and regulatory reporting.
• Present program performance and updates to the customer.
