Job summary

Clean Harbors seeks an InSite Operations Manager II to lead onsite environmental operations at a key customer location. You will organize day-to-day operations to maximize profitability, ensure safe and compliant delivery of services, and plan for ongoing operational needs across technology, facilities, labor, and equipment.

You will develop, monitor, and measure KPIs while providing strong leadership to the onsite InSite team and collaborating with customer stakeholders and Clean Harbors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, environmental services, or a related field.
• RCRA training, OSHA 24-hour HAZWOPER training, DOT training.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal teams and customer contacts.
• Experience working with profit and loss (P&L) statements and providing analysis to upper management.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred: CDL Class B/C with hazardous materials endorsement; prior onsite/InSite leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management on site, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage Health and Safety oversight of onsite employees supporting air, water, and hazardous waste programs.
• Maximize equipment and manpower utilization to support productivity and profitability.
• Develop, monitor, and measure KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Provide accurate reporting and data to upper management related to operations and financial performance.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and Clean Harbors leadership to optimize program performance.
