Job summary

WM seeks a site operations supervisor to plan and direct all onsite activities at client locations related to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.

This role manages onsite personnel, coordinates logistics, liaises with clients and vendors on service issues and contract management, and maintains safety training and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in environmental sciences, accounting, business or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in environmental/industrial settings.
• HAZWOPER Certification required upon hire.
• RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience required upon hire.
• OSHA 24-hour certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct onsite activities at client locations for hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling.
• Coordinate logistics for storage, transportation and disposal operations.
• Liaise between client and vendors for service issues and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Administer invoicing, reporting and contracts; manage site safety training.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field

High School Diploma or GED + 4 years relevant experience

2+ years relevant work experience

HAZWOPER Certification

RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance

OSHA 24-Hour Certification
