Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking current college Juniors or Seniors for an on-site Branch Operations Internship in Matthews, NC. You will learn daily branch functions, loan processes, regulatory training, and participate in operations improvement projects while exploring career paths within Republic Finance.

The program offers hands-on experience, mentorship from managers, accelerated training to become licensed for insurance products, and a path to full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing is required (criminal background check by state).

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to learn responsibilities and promotional path.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to Branch Operations.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where branch backgrounds are valued.
