Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a Technical Services Representative to provide technical support to customers and distributors, troubleshoot equipment issues, assist with installations, and deliver product training. The role blends on-the-phone support with field service and collaboration with engineering teams.

You will diagnose electro-mechanical systems, perform site evaluations, and contribute to improving product performance while maintaining thorough service documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Design, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in technical services or a related area is required.
• Knowledge of electronic controls, pneumatics, plumbing systems, networking, and pumps is preferred.
• Experience with machinery assembly, installation, or troubleshooting is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and provide effective customer support.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Phone & Field Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues over the phone and on-site.
• Customer Service: Respond to technical inquiries professionally and promptly.
• On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating schedule for after-hours support.
• Installation & Field Service: Assist with equipment installations and site evaluations.
• Customer & Distributor Training: Develop and deliver product training for customers and technicians.
• Equipment Reliability & Quality: Support warranty claims, inspections, and upgrades.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Production, Parts and R&D to improve products.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain service records and contribute to manuals and training materials.
