Job summary
Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support post-sale delivery, manage lab environments, and provide field and technical support to large national and regional customers in the Austin area. The role emphasizes remote readiness and requires travel to customer sites as needed.
The successful candidate will serve as Level 3 technical support, oversee installations, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or related field.
- Prior field-based technical support experience in fueling industry is highly preferred.
- High level of technical knowledge on fueling payment, POS and network systems.
- Up to 50% travel with short notice.
- Valid driver's license and legal ability to drive.
- Willingness to adhere to company travel and credit card policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop installation scope of work documentation and oversee ASO technicians during product installations.
- Drive product adoption and user experience through instructional demonstrations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to recommend product and maintenance improvements.
- Monitor product performance, analyze logs, and escalate to Engineering when needed.
- Lead customer lab setup and manage software updates in client labs.
- Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure simulators match customer environments.
- Provide field validation planning, testing, and reporting.
