Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions is seeking a technically skilled service professional to provide phone and on-site support for vehicle wash systems and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, assist with installations, and deliver product training to customers and distributors.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Parts, and R&D to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. Travel domestically and internationally is required; a rotating after-hours on-call schedule may

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of two years’ experience in technical services or a related area is required.
Knowledge of electronic controls, pneumatics, plumbing systems, networking, and pumps is preferred.
Experience with machinery assembly, installation, or troubleshooting is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and provide effective customer support.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Willingness to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

Phone & Field Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving vehicle wash systems and related equipment, over the phone and on-site.
Customer Service: Respond to technical inquiries professionally and promptly, taking ownership of issues through resolution.
On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating schedule to provide after-hours technical assistance when required.
Installation & Field Service: Assist with equipment installations and conduct site evaluations.
Customer & Distributor Training: Develop and deliver product training for customers, distributors, and service technicians.
Equipment Reliability & Quality: Support warranty claims, product returns, equipment inspections, and product upgrades.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Production, Parts, and R&D teams to investigate equipment issues, recommend solutions, and improve product performance.
Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and contribute to the development and improvement of service manuals and training materials.
