Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Site Lead to manage a field service team at customer sites, ensuring maintenance, repairs, and installations meet schedules and quality standards. The role emphasizes leadership, technical proficiency, and clear communication with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, managing parts and tools, and coordinating with the Area Manager to meet SLAs. Travel to customer sites and on-call duties are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in related field; 8+ years in field service or leadership.
• Certification in networking or systems integration (A+, CCNA) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a TSA background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based team and coordinate field service technicians to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Mentor lower level technicians and improve equipment knowledge and performance.
• Respond to emergency/non-scheduled calls and meet response-time goals.
• Maintain inventory of parts/tools and ensure calibration of test equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and prepare formal reports as needed.
