Qualifications

• Onsite customer-facing experience and strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
• Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience with aptitude for learning new technology.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including working with tools and various alignment apparatus.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple activities and issues while following standard procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent, plus additional hardware technology training (college preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, customer-facing hardware support for HP PC products, including Laptop, Desktop, RPOS, and Workstation systems.
• Perform reactive field service events such as configuring hardware/software and simple network components, installing units, and completing unit repair.
• Logically and systematically troubleshoot printer hardware issues; printer knowledge is a plus.
• Manage multiple tasks and stressors in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, customer-focused approach.
• Support escalation and assist in technical action plans to remediate PC/print issues, understanding business impact of service delivery.
