Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Onsite Service Technician II in Coppell, TX to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites.

This role requires basic technical knowledge, travel ability, and the capacity to work in a 24/7 environment with shift rotations. The technician will maintain service reports, perform on-site maintenance with efficiency, and support customer satisfaction by providing accurate diagnostics and repairs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of initial PDIF class.
• Travel ability with valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
• Ability to obtain security and/or other clearances to enter customer premises.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be active over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive, and accurate field/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and manage Canon property.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical and/or customer service-related issues for any territory.
