Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites. The role requires basic technical skills, the ability to travel, and willingness to work 24/7 shifts. You will maintain service records and support multiple product groups while upholding Canon standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and an ability to obtain required clearances. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and on-call rotations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures per procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and escalate as needed.
