Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a field service professional to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites. You will handle basic mechanical, software, and network issues, perform on-site maintenance, and document service reports in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, the ability to travel, and readiness for 24/7 shifts. A valid driver’s license and security clearances may be needed, with eligibility for a transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role requiring adherence to client policies.
• Willingness to travel and obtain required clearances.
• Able to work 24/7 with shifts and on-call rotations.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stay active most of the time.
• Background checks and security clearances may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive field maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and maintain Canon property.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical or customer service issues across territories.
