Job summary

ABB is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician to perform on-site service at customer sites in the DePere/Green Bay area. You will identify opportunities to improve operations, troubleshoot electrical systems, and deliver ABB-quality service while communicating timelines and expectations to customers.

The role requires an associate degree with 5+ years in electrical/electronics (or a HS diploma with 7+ years), the ability to read electrical drawings and use test equipment, and travel up to

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 5+ years in related field or HS diploma with 7+ years of experience.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment such as voltmeters or multimeters.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot up to 240 VAC/870 VDC.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work onsite at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer on-site to identify opportunities to improve operations and reduce pain points.
• Perform field service tasks, identify issues, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Prepare material lists and ensure parts and equipment are available and of quality.
• Act as trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.
