Job summary

ABB is seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to perform on-site service work at customer locations in the DePere, WI or Green Bay, WI area. You will identify opportunities to improve operations, perform field tasks, and prepare material lists while ensuring parts meet quality standards.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree and 5+ years in electrical/electronics or process control, or a HS diploma with 7+ years. Travel up to 25% for training and support.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of electrical/electronics, instrumentation or process control related work/military experience required.
• Or HS diploma/GED and 7+ years of related work/military experience required.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot up to 240 VAC/870 VDC.

Responsibilities

• Execute service work on-site at customer locations following work instructions and ABB quality guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and reduce pain points, focusing on ABB Quality Control Systems (QCS).
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment for service activities.
• Act as trainer for field service associates and customers as needed.
