Job summary

Edwards Vacuum LLC seeks a Field Service Engineer to service and repair our advanced vacuum technology at customer sites in San Jose, CA. You will visit sites, diagnose issues, perform installations, and ensure safety and documentation compliance.

You will report to the Site Manager, bring 1–3 years of relevant technical experience, have a High School Diploma (AS degree preferred), and demonstrate strong customer focus and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree preferred or full military equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant technical field experience; customer-facing preferred.
• Fluent in English; able to read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites for planned and ad-hoc inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime and improve performance.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Serve as the on-site contact to provide service recommendations and address customer needs.
