Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup and training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will manage scope, budget, and schedule with the project team to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

You’ll mentor field staff, coordinate subcontractors, and drive customer satisfaction while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant field service experience.
• Certifications: Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses (Software House, Lenel, Genetec, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope of work.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field; mentors and directs staff.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and ensures QA standards.
• Works with Project Coordinator to manage scope changes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Identifies project risks and helps implement mitigation strategies to control costs and deadlines.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security, fire/life safety, and/building automation systems; provides customer training.
