Job summary

Via is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead daily onsite operations for our Transit-as-a-Service platform. You will manage operations, drive improvements, and ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders.

Based in the Seattle area, this role is hands-on and field‑oriented, requiring 4–5 days on site. You will build relationships with drivers and city partners while using data to enhance performance and rider experience.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Hands-on and proactive in the field.
• Able to think strategically and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations of our service.
• Ensure safe, reliable, accessible transportation for riders.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs and issues.
• Guide and support drivers, building relationships and ensuring great service.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements with internal teams.
• Use data to understand service performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency and rider experience.
• Act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers and Via central teams.
