Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to provide full onsite engineering support for a portfolio of large, complex clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will own onsite service activities, perform advanced maintenance, and contribute to service improvements through feedback and documentation. A 2–4 year track record in field engineering is expected, with technical certifications valued.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
May require technical certification or Associate Degree.
Typically 2–4 years of experience in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Provide the full range of Field Engineering support for an assigned base of large/complex clients.
Take complete ownership of onsite service activity.
Perform advanced-level maintenance on all products, including low-complexity installation activities.
Provide technical feedback to improve service delivery.
Use advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs.
Identify and resolve systemic issues within the team.
Proactively support other team members with technical assistance and expertise.
Contribute to improved client services metrics reporting and documentation.
Monitor technical and process issues, informing management with improvement recommendations.
