Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an Entry Level Field Contract Coordinator for an 8‑month onsite contract in the New York area. You will collaborate with project managers to develop action plans covering resources, budgets and timelines and report to the contract manager.

The role involves coordinating team efforts, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth communications with clients. Ongoing travel to sites (5–10%) may be required, with per diem available.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years experience as a Field Contract Coordinator or similar.
• Experience managing a team.
• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
• Schedule Management (Smartsheet).
• SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Oversee current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, filed and stored.
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and goals.
• Follow budget by overseeing expenses and implementing cost‑saving measures.
• Travel to sites to assist with initial catastrophic turbine assessments (5-10%).
